“Domestic Glimpses”

Pinhole camera images taken in and around my house and garden.

Pinhole camera requires a slower contemplation, and a more intuitive and creative response to image making. Because of the long exposures you can impose a random quality that results in suprise and mystery. Toying with the basic nature of this process, the image is created onto paper rather than film, which is then contact printed to produce a ‘soft’ illusionary image.

Silver gelatin printed, selenium and cold tea toned.
