“The Shape of Water”
Water shapes our lives – how we perceive or interpret this is the essence of this work.
In this series, I am rediscovering the construction of new shapes within the photographic image which is a continual exploration of moving beyond the boundaries of the photographic rectangle.
Shot on b/w film in the darkness of the forest high up in the hills of Manganui o wae, where the water plays with your senses.
Printed on silver gelatin paper and selenium toned.
